I was born and raised in County Durham, England, but lived most of my life in the American Midwest, most recently Chicago.  I graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin, and worked in advertising. My short stories and articles have appeared in various US and UK publications. I’m married, with a daughter, and now live in New York City.
